Sanitation Associates (different shifts)

As a Sanitation Associate you have one of the most important roles, keeping our facility free from bacteria. Our Sanitation staff is held to high standards and are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the equipment used in processing and packaging our products and must ensure that Miyoko's Creamery exceeds all sanitation requirements. If you are a detail oriented person and have a high professional cleaning standard, you are our candidate! Our shifts are roughly 40 hours per week. However, because our work schedules are based on demand we are looking team-oriented and flexible individuals, who are willing to work overtime and weekends, if necessary.

Production Associates

Executive Assistant to CEO

As an Executive Assistant you will be:

Providing support in a one-on-one working relationship with the CEO and the President.

Serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external constituents on many matters and also as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams.

Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for conducting evaluations of ingredients and product in process in Primary Production, for timely recording of process-related information on Make Sheets for each batch, for performance and interpretation of sanitation verification swabs, for set-up and evaluation of settings for critical control point process controls, and for collections of samples for analysis.  Depending on the shift assigned and the production activities in progress, the Quality Control Technician may additionally be required to perform some tasks in the Quality Laboratory, including plating of microbiological samples.

Perform Quality Checks on Products & Production EquipmentAnalyze samples of product: pH, organoleptic (texture/appearance/flavor), chemical composition, microbiological analysis, temperatureRecord key ‘checkpoint’ parameters during product processing.Collect and log samples for laboratory analysisObserve production processes and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Food Safety Plan.Perform routine checks of sanitation efficacy – allergenic residue & ATP swab checks, environmental monitoring swabs.Take action according to Product Hold/Release Policy to mark, record, and isolate any non-conforming product for review by management.Perform monitoring and verification activities for Preventive Controls. (ex. Metal Detector Testing, Weight Checks)Inspect ingredients and materials for compliance to specification.

The Lead Food Scientist is a key role responsible for growing the Miyoko’s brand by commercializing cultured plant-based dairy products.

Flawlessly commercialize 4-6 phenomenal plant based dairy products/year, assisting developers to design for processability, source materials for trials, design and lead plant trials, communicate cross functionally to keep projects on track, working closely with Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Operations. Qualify ingredients for new SKUs and alternative suppliers for existing ingredients.Align with product developers to write specs for ingredients and finished goods.Lead and motivate R&D team members in the technical aspects of product development through the investigation, planning, execution, evaluation and documentation of new product development and continuous improvements projectsWork and collaborate with teams both internally and externally to achieve business goals.
