This savory truffle butter made with Miyoko's European Style Cultured Vegan Butter will elevate all of your dishes– from pasta to veggies to potatoes.
Truffle Compound Butter
Prep time: 5-10 mins
Cook time: 5 mins
Pulse mushrooms in food processor until finely minced to create mushroom duxelles. Transfer duxelles to a tea towel, and squeeze liquid from mushrooms.
Sauté & Combine
Add a small amount of butter to pan over medium-high heat, and sauté duxelles for 2-3 minutes until color has lightened. Remove from heat and refrigerate until cold.
Fold together remaining butter with reserved mushroom duxelles and truffle oil until thoroughly combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Transfer to a container or wrap in parchment, and chill until use.
